This site features the past and the upcoming projects of Miss Honeychild and Tamas Oszvald aka Roaming Trees Storytelling under the name of their new initiative, the LalinRóka Productions.

The collaboration between Miss Honey Child and Tamas Oszvald is a series of immersive spoken word performances based on traditional folk tales enhanced by music and food. At each show, the harmonic convergence of powerful oration, melodious music, and delicious food is curated to offer the audience an original event of which they’ve never experienced.
Our performances can be commissioned and easily tailored for family gatherings, festivals and for corporate events.
Miss Honeychild is an American creole whose storytelling is rooted in cooking the cuisines and foodways entrusted to her by her Elders, over 35 years catering events and parties, and her love of the people she cooks for. Honey Child is dedicated to showcasing the foods, traditions, and delicious bounty of her heritage, curating and delivering bespoke menus that are always sourced from local, seasonal ingredients. Using food as her Ministry, she endeavours to translate the emotion, terroir, and land where the stories live to each and every guest.

Tamas Oszvald is an emerging performer storyteller. His Roaming Trees Storytelling platform has seen him grab audiences on the international stages of Europe and Australasia, re-telling folk tales, myths and legends in his uniquely engaging way. He says he tells stories so that he can nurture his audience as a community, but even better, can create with them something transient that also has the power to make a long term imprint. His end goal is not to just tell a great story, but to learn with his listeners about what it means to be human.
